At its core, the 450NK is powered by a robust 449.5cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. This dynamic power plant generates 34.5kW (approximately 46.3 hp) at 10,000 rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 7,750 rpm. Its 270° crankshaft angle provides a throaty engine note and a power delivery similar to that found in V-twin engines, ensuring impressive throttle response. Dual balance shafts work to reduce engine vibration, contributing to a more comfortable ride, especially on longer journeys. Fueling is managed by a Bosch EFI system for precise delivery and optimal efficiency. The 6-speed transmission is equipped with a CF-SC slipper clutch, which allows riders to use the gearbox more effectively when slowing down, preventing rear-wheel lock-up and offering a lighter clutch lever pull for enhanced comfort and control.
The 450NK tips the scales at only 165 kg (kerb weight), boasting one of the best curb weights in its class. This makes for extremely nimble, easy handling, particularly in urban traffic and when carving through sweeping bends. Its steel tube frame and lightweight aluminium alloy rims contribute to this agility. The bike features a 37mm upside-down front fork with hydraulic damping, providing 130mm of travel for real-world stability and a sporty feel. The rear centre-aligned monoshock also offers 130mm of travel and is adjustable for preload, ensuring comfort and maximum traction under acceleration.
Superior braking power is delivered by J.Juan braking systems. A substantial 320mm single disc with a four-piston radially mounted caliper handles aggressive braking up front, complemented by a 220mm single disc with a single-piston floating caliper at the rear. Standard Bosch dual-channel ABS provides optimal and controlled braking performance in all conditions, while an advanced Traction Control System (TCS) further enhances safety by limiting rear-wheel slip in low traction situations. The 450NK rolls on 17-inch wheels fitted with optimized CST AS5 high-performance tyres (110/70 R17 front, 150/60 R17 rear), providing exceptional grip on all street surfaces.
The futuristic and highly functional styling of the 450NK includes angular, animated LED lighting that makes it stand out from the crowd. A vibrant 5-inch TFT curved display elegantly presents a wide range of information, including fuel consumption, and incorporates mobile phone integration for seamless connectivity, along with navigation projection and a built-in shift light. An optional T-Box allows for easy smartphone connectivity, providing over-the-air (OTA) updates, anti-theft and tracking capability, as well as real-time viewing of vehicle information through the CFMOTO RIDE app. A reserve Type C/Type-A charging port adds convenience.
